O My Heart!

I know what

• the fluttering of my heart feels like (infatuation)
• the warming of my heart feels like (in love and/ or loved)
• the breaking of my heart feels like (heartache)
• the bleeding of my heart feels like (ache)
• the crying of my heart feels like (grief)
• the cold in my heart feels like (numb/ denial/ betrayal)
• the laughing of my heart feels like (repressed laughter)
• the stop-start of my heart feels like (shock)
• the bursting open of my heart feels like (joy)
• the beaming of my heart feels like (sending love)
• the expansion of my heart feels like (one with universe)

All these can happen even as my heart remains within my body.. and not a word is spoken.

I feel I have tasted the sweet, sour, salty, bitter sides of life.

I know… because I have lived fully and I won’t trade it for anything in the world.
