Truth: While relaxation techniques can be helpful, overcoming vaginismus often requires a comprehensive treatment plan that may include physical therapy, counseling, and other interventions. In my experience working with people with Vaginismus since 2009, I have come to call it a fear of the unknown with sexuality education and counseling helping the most.
